A unified mobile application has been developed for the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to assist highway users across the country with accessing highway information and various services related to their journeys.

Through this application, users can access details about the nearest toll plaza, toll plazas en route, information about national highways, as well as nearby amenities such as petrol pumps, hospitals, and hotels. The application is available in multiple languages including English and Hindi.

Highway users have the ability to report issues or file complaints along with image or video evidence through the application. They can also track the status of their grievances and provide feedback. At the back end, a web application processes these issues and complaints submitted by highway users based on their category. The complaints or issues are geotagged and forwarded to the relevant competent authority at the nearest toll plaza. The system supports multiple levels of escalation, both manual and automatic, based on the category of complaint. Additionally, authorities can review feedback and ratings provided by highway users.

The application also includes features to record journeys for later viewing. Citizens can set speed limits while traveling, receiving alerts if they exceed these limits. Multicast, unicast, and broadcast notifications are utilized to disseminate important information related to roads and national highways to citizens.

Furthermore, Artificial Intelligence aids in controlling the application through voice commands while driving. Notable features of the app include FastTag services, enabling users to access services such as purchasing recharges, FastTag recharges, monthly pass options, and accessing banking portals directly within the application.

Users have the opportunity to rate their journey experiences as well as the services provided by national highways.
